Hey there, I’m Sally Edwards, a Life Consultant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I love connecting with people, helping them get to know themselves and figure out life. My 40 year career in university settings focused on teaching, program development and administration, all designed to enhance the lives of individuals, families and communities. In addition to developing highly successful programs, my greatest joy came from the countless hours spent talking with students and staff, helping them work through life. My degrees in Human Development and Family Studies as well as additional studies in Marriage and Family Therapy have provided solid underpinnings for work as a Life Consultant.
So you might be wondering exactly what a Life Consultant is or does. A Life Consultant is someone who comes alongside you to help you look at your life, what’s working, what’s not, where you feel stuck or unfulfilled and help you gain clarity - whether at work, in relationships, or determining career options. Then you can move forward with confidence towards the life you want — in fact, becoming the real you. Life consulting involves recognizing patterns, reframing situations and shifting perspectives, replacing negative ways of thinking and functioning with positives. We’ll look at connecting with your emotions, not abandoning your heart, but rather giving your heart a voice and restoring hope. As you determine what you want, I can help you figure out a plan for how to get there. I’d love to talk with you, so if you’re ready to move forward in your life, contact me. |
What Others Say...
"My conversations with Sally gave me comfort in ways I didn’t even know I needed. But more than that, I could be completely genuine and open with her, more than I am with my closest friends and family."

"I know in my heart that I can attribute most (if not all) of that confidence to you. Over the past months you have shown me that there is strength in vulnerability. You have shown me how to accept new callings and how to expand my comfort zone. Your intuition is so powerful. I think that you can see me and my experiences with such empathy and understanding so much so that I feel comfortable sharing even the darkest parts of my life, without fear of judgment."

"Speaking with you was the first time I truly felt heard by an adult and it made me feel like what I had to say was important because you listened and spoke to me so intentionally like all you wanted to get out of our conversation was to understand the real me. I vividly remember the way you made me feel and I have strived to only carry out relationships with people who have made me feel that way and in turn I have tried to intentionally get to know others beyond their surface level."
